Hi, I'm Shaila Man, web designer and developer at Clear Cut Web Design, and I've been in the web industry since before web browsers were even born. This was when it was all irc server chatting through dos command prompts! Yes all the way back then, when my concerned parents thought IT was a fad not a future and I should pursue a 'proper' career. I stuck to my guns as I was totally hooked and passionate about the internet, it's capabilities and it's future.
It was a great sigh of relief that my parents did end up being wrong (quite rare too might I add), but I was right, and I am still right, the internet stuck around and got Bigger, Better & Stronger and now it's difficult to imagine life before it's existence.
I have been lucky enough to work with some great UK web agencies and clients, on some jaw-dropping products and brands. Eventually, just like chefs, you want to go build your own restaurant. So now with nearly 2 decades of experience in my back pocket, and a life changing move to Australia, I am doing just that.
